The EDGE Student & Leaders Camp and Conferences
The EDGE started as a vision to put on a youth conference where adults could be trained and spiritually fed along with students. It is our goal to place the highest quality people on stage in front of your students without having to charge you unreasonable prices. We also value interaction, which is why we want to keep The EDGE from being too large. We want you to be close the to stage and we want our stage personalities to be able to come off of the stage and talk to everyone who is there.
After putting on one winter conference in Gatlinburg, TN, for three years we at Inlightened Ministries were approached by several people about starting an EDGE conference in North Carolina. So, in 2004-2005 we put on our first two EDGE conferences in North Carolina. These conferences flank the state -- one in the mountains of western North Carolina and the other on the beach.
For years we thought about providing a high-quality summer camp experience like our winter conferences. We wanted to keep the price affordable but not sacrifice anything from our vision of what an excellent camp should be. Finally, in 2007, everything aligned and we began registrations for our first EDGE Summer Camp. Located in Pigeon Forge, TN, at The Grand Resort the week will include all lodging, meals, student Bible studies, adult leadership training, worship experiences, and late-night activities.
