From the road...
A Light in the Darkness
March 5, 2008
Hey Everyone…
So we are not exactly as timely as we would like to be on these blog posts...but we are working on it. Having said that, last night was worth blogging about. So we are in Wilkesboro, NC. We have been here before...more than once. But last night, in a rather large auditorium, with a bit more than 500 children, teen, and adults...we had a power outage. A storm driven, area wide, transformers blown power outage. Right in the middle of the worship set everything went down. But, after a few moments of chatter, some quick updates on the status of tornado watch reports, flashlights and cellphones, we proceeded. No lights, no mics, no sound at all. We preached a message on the spot about lights in a dark world. The response was great! And, we saw 5 people come to Jesus! Too cool, huh? We finished right on time, parents got their kids, buses got home, and we are excited about our final night here tonight! Just wanted to share. To God be the glory.

And just a reminder...if you are excited about the winter Edge conferences, don’t forget we also have The Edge summer camp. You won’t want to miss it. We had an incredible time at last year’s camp. Good to be Home
October 9, 2007
It is good to be home. Home being our new home in Roanoke, VA. The weather is beautiful, the mountains are gorgeous, and we are enjoying life in the new place God has placed us. Rhythm has been very exciting. We reached the 100 persons plateau this past week. The spring and summer schedules for JP and I are coming together. All seems to be well. Praying for Kingdom things!

Texas Stuff
September 30, 2007
Hey,
We are actually on the road headed home from our more than a week stay in Lubbock, TX. It certainly is good to be heading home. We are all looking forward to being in Virginia for more than a day at a time. We will be there for over 3 weeks. Exciting. We had a really solid week in Lubbock. Good services, great attendance at the SYATP Rally and the Game Day festivities. It was awesome to see over 50 young people surrender their lives to Jesus. Always an amazing time to see God move. We love you Lubbock. And go Tech..a whopping 75-7 win. Good Times! We look forward to the next time we are with you. Take Care.

Travel Update
September 18, 2007
Hey everyone. Thanks for stopping by the website. Just wanted to drop a note to let you know that we are all doing well. The new guys are adjusting very well. In fact, they have been awesome considering the setups and tear downs they have had to do in their first month with us. Indoors, outdoors, early mornings, late nights...I tell you what, they are going to breeze through the year from October on...if they get through the next 2 weeks. We have been in NC, TN, VA, and we are headed to TX. But it has really been fun. God has blessed and we have seen youth groups, churches, and lives changed in Christ! Good times. All that on top of the opening of Rhythm this month has made life hectic...but truly amazing. Hope to see all of you soon.

Partnering with Us
August 27, 2007
Several people have asked how to get involved in supporting Inlightened Ministries. We recently had someone donate their services to have this video made which will give you (and any of your friends) some info about what we do and how you can get involved.
So… watch the video and find out how you can get involved on our Partner Page. (Then be sure to show it to others).
An Update on Everyone and Everything
August 5, 2007
A lot of you have been asking what is going on with Inlightened Ministries, the Jonathan Project, the Band, etc. Here is a little update on everyone and everything.
Craig, Ty (my daughter), Topher (electric guitar player), Amanda (Ty’s nanny), and me have all moved to Roanoke VA. Topher is the only one with a place to live. The rest of us are living with a family, hoping that nothing else falls thru (like the other 4 options we had before we got here).
Ben and his wife, Rebekah, are still in Nashville, TN. Ben is still working with us...only it’s from a distance. Brent (drummer) will be living in Franklin TN, and will be pursuing a band that he can tour with. Travis (acoustic guitar player) has moved to Lubbock TX to be the associate youth pastor at FBC Lubbock. He also recently got married to a girl named Mary (July 25, 2007). Chris (bass guitar player) moved back to Kentucky to work, go to school, and to be with his family after the loss of his mother, Jane.
We have 3 new players that we are very excited about...DJ (drummer from KY), Caleb (acoustic guitar player from VA), and Brandon (bass player from VA).
We will be starting a weekly college and young adult worship service here in Roanoke called Rhythm. It begins in September. We will also continue traveling and leading worship, so check out our schedule for when we will be close to you.
Winter Edge Registration is beginning tomorrow, so don’t miss out this year. It’s going to be amazing.
We love you!! Please continue to pray for us during this time of transition. Thank you all for your prayer and support.
